The spare wheel normally sits inside. this takes up a lot of space. I didnt want to have the spare wheel on the roofrack so the only option was to hang it of the rear doors.

the hardest thing is to calculate where the mounting points for the wheel need to go. With the 255/85 tyres on the picture there is less than a centimeter left for the door to open.
